HPE Altoline 6940 Series switches are 40GbE data center open networking, disaggregated low latency switches in a 1U package and with an x86 CPU. This model has 32x 40GbE ports with dual hot pluggable AC power supplies; its airflow is front to back. They are designed for deployment in web scale environments as 10GbE server access switches or as 40GbE spine switches, and optimized for data center hot/cold isles deployments with reversible airflow. VXLAN support makes them ideal for deployment in multi tenancy and overlay environments.
